Description
The largest and most sacred temple in the empire, the Pyramid of the Fifth Sun stands at the heart of Tenotepec. It is a towering, bloodstained structure, where daily sacrifices are made to ensure the sun continues to rise. Hundreds gather at dawn and dusk to witness the offerings, while within, the priests prepare new rituals, store ancient relics, and interpret divine prophecies. High Priestess Xochiyotl, oversees grand sacrificial rituals that enforce divine law, ensuring the empire's devotion to the sun deity.
Appearance
The pyramid is made of sun-baked stone, its steps leading to a massive altar at the top, where sacrifices are made. The walls are covered in gold leaf, reflecting sunlight and creating a blinding spectacle during the day.
