Description

The Wild West, also known as the American frontier or the Old West, is a term that encompasses the history, culture, folklore, and geography of American expansion in North America. 1860sThe era was characterized by lawlessness, violence, hardship, and the clash of old and new: Lawlessness: The untamed territories west of the Mississippi River had no real judicial system, and disputes were often resolved by deadly force. Violence: The great migration and expansion of the era triggered violence. Hardship: Wages were low and there was no structured law system. Clash of old and new: The era was marked by the arrival of European settlers from the Atlantic coast, as well as the emergence of cowboys, outlaws, pioneers, gunslingers, gunfights, and bank robberies. Franz, when crafting new locations, make them based off real locations in America during the 1860s.
