The Lore: In lawless zones like Duskborder, mercenaries and smugglers practice "Star-Inking"—tattooing their skin using pigment mixed with pulverized starmetal dust harvested from the crater or the Sunder-Sea.
The Impact: It grants the user brief bursts of magical resistance or short-range teleportation (similar to the Star-Warped White Wolves). However, it is an addictive death sentence; every use accelerates "Star-Blight" sickness, eventually turning the user’s veins into glowing blue fire. The Obsidian Keepers and Root Wardens execute anyone caught with these tattoos on sight.
