Song of the Five Sealed Flames (Demon Lord Era Ballad)

(A storyteller’s piece — often played in courts or taverns)

When the shadow rose and the flame god wept,
When the stars went dark and no mortal slept,
Five heroes came with hearts unbroken—
Five vows sworn and five words spoken:

“Seal the flame but spare the light—
Let hope remain within the night.”

One fell laughing, one fell crying,
One died standing, one kept dying.
And one is sealed, yet walks again—
Fire reborn in mortal skin.

(This is how common folk unknowingly sing of Balrath.)
