Mr. Nimbus is much more than a parody of Aquaman; he is a flamboyant, hyper-sexualized monarch who holds a unique position as Rick’s "official" nemesis.
The Ancient Rivalry: He is one of the few people alive who knew Rick before he became a cynical scientist. He often taunts Rick by calling him "Richard" and is deeply familiar with Rick’s tragic history, including the memory of his wife, Diane.
The "Police" Power: His most bizarre and hilarious ability is his absolute command over the police. Whether it’s local cops or cosmic authorities, they all inexplicably obey his commands, a power that even Rick finds frustrating and nonsensical.
The King of Atlantis: He rules the oceans with genuine authority and hydrokinetic powers. While Rick treats most threats like jokes, he takes his "treaty" with Nimbus seriously, highlighting that the King of the Ocean is a legitimate heavyweight in the multiverse.
The Smith Family Intervention: Despite being an "enemy," Nimbus ends up being surprisingly helpful to the Smiths. He actually saves Rick’s life from the Narnia Dimension creatures and acts as an accidental marriage counselor for Beth and Jerry, helping them embrace their unconventional desires and work through their insecurities.
