The Lore Bomb: Rick's Backstory & Evil Morty
The finale, "Rickmurai Jack," provides the definitive Rick C-137 origin story: his original wife Diane and daughter Beth were murdered by another Rick, sparking his decades-long quest for revenge. It’s revealed that the Central Finite Curve is actually a "wall" Rick built to separate the universes where he is the smartest man from the rest of the multiverse. Evil Morty successfully destroys the Citadel and breaks through the Curve to escape Rick’s control forever.
