Alchemical Waste Ooze

Chimney Viper

  • Classification: Thermal Reptile / Factory Pest

  • Habitat: Factory smokestacks and boiler vents.

  • Role & Behavior: A 6-foot serpent requiring intense heat to survive. Aggressive when cornered by maintenance workers inside machinery.

Toxin-Bloat Toad

  • Classification: Chemical Mutant / Biological Hazard

  • Habitat: Runoff drains and stagnant sewer pools.

  • Role & Behavior: A dog-sized biological weapon. It is bloated with unstable chemical gases that release as a toxic cloud if the skin is ruptured.

  • Visual Identification: Translucent green skin with gas bubbles moving visibly under the dermis.

Furnace-Stalker

  • Classification: Apex Urban Predator / Thermal Mimic

  • Habitat: Boiler rooms, steam tunnels, and industrial shafts.

  • Role & Behavior: Absorbs machinery heat to fuel its metabolism. Uses shimmering heat waves to camouflage while stalking workers.

  • Visual Identification: Sleek, hairless iron-colored feline with molten orange veins.

Spark-Fly Swarm

  • Classification: Energy Parasite / Aether-Consumer

  • Habitat: Aether-generators, power hubs, and industrial lighting.

  • Role & Behavior: Tiny insects feeding on raw energy. Deadly in large numbers, capable of draining generators or electrocuting people.

  • Visual Identification: A buzzing cloud of metallic insects glowing with blue static.

Slag-Hound

  • Classification: Calcified Scavenger / Pack Hunter

  • Habitat: The Scrapyard and 5th Ring outskirts.

  • Role & Behavior: Feral dogs mutated by alchemical runoff. They hunt in packs, using reinforced skin to ignore small-arms fire.

  • Visual Identification: Mangy canines with rock-hard grey overlapping plates and sickly yellow eyes.

Shadowcoil Constrictor

  • Classification: Aquatic Predator / Ambush Hunter

  • Habitat: Black waters and flood pipes beneath the city.

  • Role & Behavior: Paralyzes prey before dragging them underwater to drown and crush them.

  • Visual Identification: Pure black scales and piercing yellow eyes.

Giant Rat / Swarm of Rats

  • Classification: Scavenger / Vermin

  • Habitat: All lower districts and sewers.

  • Role & Behavior: Aggressive, numerous scavengers driven by primal hunger and a desperate will to survive.

Feral Stray

  • Classification: Urban Scavenger / Survivor

  • Habitat: 4th Ring slums and back alleys.

  • Role & Behavior: Abandoned canines that are generally scavengers but dangerous if cornered.

II. The Ashen Expanse (The Wastelands)

Dune-Shark

  • Classification: Subterranean Ambusher / Sand-Swimmer

  • Habitat: Loose ash and sand dunes of the Expanse.

  • Role & Behavior: Land-predator that "swims" through ash. Breaches with explosive speed to drag prey beneath the surface.

  • Visual Identification: Massive shark with sandpaper-like brown skin.

Ash-Reaper Scorpion

  • Classification: Necrotic Apex Predator / Wasteland Horror

  • Habitat: Desolate, heat-scorched regions of the Expanse.

  • Role & Behavior: Giant arachnid with venom that rots flesh instantly. Leaves a trail of desiccated husks.

  • Visual Identification: Pale-grey, cart-sized with shield-claws and a stinger dripping black ichor.

Ash Scarab Swarm

  • Classification: Chitinous Devourer / Storm-Follower

  • Habitat: Earth during sandstorms.
