Hollow Lord

The Hollow Lord was once an honorable knight of the Steel Watch, respected for his loyalty and sense of duty. After his wife died from a cruel hereditary curse, he feared the same fate when his young son began to show the same signs. When no healer could help, he abandoned his post and traveled across the land with the boy, desperately searching for a way to save him.

During a violent storm, they took refuge in the abandoned Grey Manor deep within Greywood Forest. There, a mysterious spirit appeared and offered a grim bargain: the curse could be broken, but only if one life was given in exchange for another. Without hesitation, the knight offered his own life to save his son.

The spirit twisted the deal. Instead of granting a peaceful sacrifice, it stole the knight’s soul, leaving his body an empty vessel bound to its will. Then, to complete the bargain in the cruelest way possible, it forced the knight to kill his own son before the curse could claim him. With the boy’s death—the last bearer of the cursed bloodline—the curse was broken.

Now the Hollow Lord wanders the halls of Grey Manor, a soulless guardian bound to the spirit’s power, eternally trapped in the aftermath of his desperate sacrifice.
