The Blight
The Blight emerged in the age following the loss of dragons. Their absence shattered the natural balance that once held the world in quiet harmony. With the forces of creation unguarded, decay began to take root in the land’s foundation.
Over the centuries that followed, the Blight spread across soil and stone, draining color and life with a steady, unseen hand. The changes were gradual—too subtle to draw fear or understanding. The mortals, consumed by ambition and conflict, turned their gaze inward, blind to the slow collapse beneath their feet.
What began as imbalance has become the defining wound of the age. The Blight continues to expand, eroding what remains of the old world, while those who might resist it waste their strength on power and pride.
