King Eustace

King Eustace was a boy of sixteen years on the fateful day he met Agatha during the ritual of Akahn. At this time he was a tall blonde with little muscle mass and a stubborn additude.

As an adult a decade later, he grew into a strong and robust king who was gentle and fair with his people,yet stern and imposing towards his enemies. The lack of confidence he had as a prince, replaced by a calm yet solid authority as a King.

King Eustace's life was a tale of unexpected twists and turns, forged by a collision of duty and destiny. Born to the legendary ruler Aggorn, Eustace's youth was marked by his father's neglect and demands, driving him to seek solace in the outside world. It was during one such evening stroll that Eustace stumbled upon a ritualistic ceremony of the goblins, the Akahn. The incense-laced fumes transformed him, granting him newfound powers and compelling him to vanquish the contending goblin warriors. Emerging victorious, he claimed Agatha as his prize, only to awaken the next day in a farmer's field, his life forever altered.

Eustace went on to find love and start a family, but fate had more in store. On his son's tenth birthday, Agatha, now the Goblin Queen, crashed the celebration and demanded her desires be met. Reluctantly, Eustace agreed, losing his human wife Veronica but gaining the unexpected support of the goblin nations that bordered his kingdom.

Prince Oliver

One fateful day, on the eve of his tenth birthday celebration, Oliver's meticulously planned life was turned upside down. Agatha (in Vissara, The Great Hovel)( Ahnekis Plot Related)

Agatha, once a mere goblin among her hovel, rose to become a cunning and formidable queen. Her ascent began during the sacred ritual of Akahn, a ceremony where the strongest male warriors of the goblins competed in a life-or-death chase through the woods. It was during this ritual that an unsuspecting human prince stumbled into the fray, drawn in by the incense-fueled frenzy. The prince's success in the competition led to the final part of the ritual, the Bonding, and a decade later, Agatha returned to the now-older King Eustace with a human-goblin hybrid daughter, a sibling to the king's son and a rightful part of the royal succession. Agatha's proposition to the king was a threatening one – either he accepted responsibility for the child and raised her as his own for ten years, or she would abduct his son, flood the kingdom with an invasion of her kin, and withdraw the protection of the surrounding mountains, leaving the kingdom vulnerable to the forces beyond.

Oggana (in Vissara, The Great Hovel) (Ahnekis Plot Related)

Oggana's life was a tapestry of contrasts, woven with the threads of her goblin and human heritage. Born to the formidable Queen Agatha of the Great Hovel and the noble Lord Eustace of Shoalridge, she was a fate child, a living embodiment of the union between the savage and the civilized. Raised amidst the bustling horde of ten thousand goblins, Oggana's intelligence blossomed, a sophisticated mind nestled within a feral, diminutive frame. While her goblin kin embraced violence as a way of life, Oggana found herself drawn to the natural world and the abandoned artifacts left by fearful human trespassers. When her mother orchestrated a journey to the human kingdom, Oggana's first encounter with her father and newfound brother was marked by their astonishment at her unique appearance. Yet, in the gaze of her brother, Oggana found a kinship that promised a future where her dual nature could be celebrated, not feared.

Flicker(Kenku)

Flicker was once a street performer and pickpocket, relying on her agility and mimicry to entertain and survive. King Carrion's harsh rule has stifled all forms of public expression, and her usual spots are too dangerous due to guard presence. She loathes the dull, oppressive atmosphere Carrion has created and misses the freedom of the open market.

Glim(Kenku)

Glim is a former engineer and tinkerer, once responsible for maintaining Uridim's ancient sewer system and its few remaining mechanical contraptions. Carrion's regime has seen most resources diverted, leaving the infrastructure crumbling and Glim's skills underutilized. He feels a deep responsibility for the city's functionality and despises Carrion's neglect.

Pitter-Pat(Kenku)

Pitter-Pat was once a promising apprentice in the underground network of Uridim's black market, specializing in deciphering cryptic messages. King Carrion's ever-increasing taxes and patrols have crippled his trade, leaving him desperate and constantly on the brink of starvation. He often dreams of a day when whispers of freedom don't come with the threat of death.

King Carrion(Giant Vulture Like Kenku)

A large bipedal humanoid vulture with black wings on his back, taloned feet and hands, and a collar of white downy feathers around his neck accenting his featherless head. The large vulture like humanoid wears old royal garb and a silver crown as he wields a scepter with a long claw on the end. His gaze filled with cruelty and malice as he ruminates about your death.

King Carrion is the oldest Kenku in the city of Uridim. Born to a noble family of Kenku's, he was always told that he was born to be a true leader, and was taught all the skills to be a good King as he grew up. On the day he was to be corinated his older brother Carcass returned from war, halting the ceremony and causing political discourse in his family. Carrion's parents soon retracted their plan to make carrion the rightful heir apon the discovery his older brother was alive and so he crafed a wicked plot for the death of his brother. Carrion killed his brother by pretending to celebrate his return and future rule of the Kingdom. Inviting his brother to drink with him, King Carrion served Carcass a glass of poisoned mead with a large plate of food and watched with an evil joy as his brother collapsed over the table. Spilling his mead on the ground and ensuring king Carrion's rule. As his brother lay dead on the table he rushed to tell his parents, blaming it on a lowly servant.

Evylynn Stormbloom

Long before the rule of the current kings of Ahnekis, Evylinn Stormbloom arrived in Ahnekis from the Village of Adrie in Vissara, a humble magical novice. She came to Ahnekis hearing rumors of strong magical users in the land with unique powers. When she discovered that magic is actually rare in Ahnekis and it's practitioners were of evil natures she felt distraught with sorrow. After this discovery in her youth she attempted to teach humans the magics she knew in hopes they would do good with this power and teach others her arcane knowledge. While moderately successful at this, she noticed overtime humans sought her out less often and her increasingly rare encounters with them turned from fearful of her to actively hunting Evylynn down in anger. Fearing for her future safety in her old age she returned to the old coastal castle she had been living in and cast a high level levitate spell, lifting the castle and the earth beneath it into the sky. There Evylynn has been for many decades.

Commander Winfield

Commander Winfield is the Son of an old land Barron who lost his title in a war long ago. As a child, he enjoyed the comfort and money that was privileged to him by his father who had not yet lost his title. As he was ripped away from this lifestyle as a teen he was sent to a relative who lived in a small nearby village that raised Winfield from his teen years into adulthood. Seeing that at the time Winfield was carefree and seemed disinterested in hard work, his new family taught him the values he holds in his later years. Commander Winfield caught the attention of a local general as he was trying to enlist in the royal guard in the castle, instead of turning Winfield away the general trained him in combat and battle strategy as he witnessed his new eager pupil climb high into the ranks. After a full decade of training and studying, Commander Winfield's mentor retired due to old age, and awarded Winfield with the rank of Commander over Sunstone Keep.

King Garrish

King Garrish was not born to nobility, rather he became nobility. He once was a lowly farmers son who was tired of the mundane way of living and the small world he lived in. One day Garrish was hunting in the woods near his farm when he discovered a lone, dying knight having his final rest at the foot of a tree. Garrish constructed a sled of hide and tree branches and promptly brought the knight back to his farm, where he and his father nursed him back to stability. The knight was not too accepting of the help, stating that it was his time to die and the boy should have left him be. The knight would act meanly toward Garrish up until the night he regained his health. Before leaving the knight spoke with Garrish and complemented his willingness to help with no reward and his tolerance for the knights rudeness. He told Garrish that the world outside his farm was cruel and that it needed more good people in it, offering to take Garrish into the nearest City, becoming the Knight's squire.
