Elaris is a small woodland village nestled within one of Avelora’s great forests, near where the land begins to descend toward the mountain’s edge. Though surrounded by ancient trees and dense greenery, Elaris remains connected to the rest of the kingdom through established roads and regular trade. Its people live closely alongside the forest, relying on its timber, herbs and natural resources while taking care to preserve the woodland around them.
@Elaris Watermill – An old working watermill built along one of the forest streams, providing flour for Elaris and nearby communities.
@Elaris Great Tree – An enormous ancient tree at the heart of Elaris that is believed to predate the village and remains unusually green throughout the changing seasons.
@Elaris Greenwood Inn – A small and welcoming forest inn offering food, drinks and rooms to travelers passing through Elaris.
@Elaris Market – The village’s small marketplace where residents sell produce, herbs, forest goods and handmade crafts alongside occasional traveling merchants.
@Elaris Shrine – A simple open-air sanctuary among the trees where villagers and travelers leave offerings, pray or seek a quiet moment.
@Elaris Cliff View – A secluded lookout with a small wooden gazebo and a bench for two overlooking the sea of clouds and distant mountains.
@Elaris Woodworker’s Workshop – A local workshop where timber from the surrounding forest is crafted into furniture, tools and everyday goods.
@Elaris Herbalist’s Cottage – The home and workplace of Elaris’ herbalist, where plants gathered from the forest are turned into medicines, salves, teas and other remedies.
