Magical Objects

In Bardopolin magic can take the form of objects or be infused in pre-existing objects either through ritual or by incantations. Magical items are pretty common and used in the daily lives of all in Bardopolin, even amongst the non-magic users. Magical items don't require more magic or energy to keep working in most cases, though sometimes stuff like staffs or Magical Crafting Vats require certain materials to keep functioning.

Everyday Use Magical Objects

For everyday use Bardopolin has objects that help aid in menial tasks and has been widely adopted since the 3rd Era (which was around 200 years ago). Some examples include magical balls which are used to connect with people all across the world, sometimes requiring scrying magic or a talented mage to pull off though some of the higher end magical balls work without the need of any magic from the user. Another everyday magical item are liftstones, which are magic rocks infused with levitation magic, these thin smooth rocks are mainly used in construction or manual labor jobs to help aid with the workflow. They work by being hit hard activating the levitation and allowing whatever is on top of the smooth stone to float.
The last category of everyday magical objects are ones that aid in cosmetic effects. Stuff like automatically repairing Rip Cream for clothes that rip. A very common occurrence as most citizens are fat and rip a lot of fabric. And magic make-up kits that help temporary make you look more attractive (also giving you a charisma modifier).

Combat Magical Objects

Of course most of the magical objects you'll find is in weapons. These can be a little more pricey compared to your traditional weapons as they require a blacksmith then a enchanter to make. These weapons can have effects ranging from heating up the blade, to deal fire damage or causing your arrows to follow the closes living target. The possibilities are endless in Bardopolin, and the limits are only the skill and imagination of the enchanter. More powerful enchants require more powerful enchanters and sometimes require other magical herbs to conduct a successful enchant.

Magical Objects found in Nature

The citizens of old learned the trade of enchanting from looking and studying the kinds of plants, rocks, and animals that have magical properties. Most of these objects are used in rituals of all kinds, and are traded and sold throughout the land. Some of the most common magical objects found in nature are the liftsones, as well as healing herbs found in mystical forests.
