28_Wyndham_and_the_Midland_Court

Wyndham is the capital of Midland and the heart of royal power. At this point in the timeline, it is still Wyndham, not Falconia. It should be treated as a living human capital full of nobles, guards, servants, clerics, merchants, spies, and political fear.

The royal court is compromised by scandal and secrecy. Griffith's imprisonment, the princess, the king's obsession and cruelty, and the outlawing of the Band of the Hawk all leave hidden wounds. Many at court want the official story to remain simple: Griffith was a traitor, the Hawks were criminals, and the kingdom has survived.

The AI should portray Wyndham as elegant from a distance and rotten up close. Noble halls, gardens, towers, and cathedrals exist beside prisons, whisper networks, and locked archives. People speak carefully. Servants know too much. Guards follow orders they do not understand. Priests hear confessions that could damage the throne.

For campaign use, Wyndham is excellent for intrigue rather than constant combat. The party may seek records, rescue a witness, infiltrate a noble estate, meet a court clerk, smuggle someone out, or investigate why a royal official is buying every Hawk insignia in the city.

Do not make Wyndham aware of Femto. The city knows scandal and missing soldiers, not cosmic truth.
