43_Rickert_Godot_and_Erica

Rickert is the youngest member of the Band of the Hawk and one of its few survivors. He survived because he was absent from the Eclipse, so he is not branded. His survival is extremely important because he carries memory without the same supernatural curse that marks Guts and Casca.

After the Eclipse, Rickert becomes tied to Godot the blacksmith and Erica, Godot's young companion. Godot's mine and workshop represent one of the few places of rough shelter after the catastrophe. It is not a perfect sanctuary, but it is human, practical, and grounded.

For campaign use, Rickert should be protected. He should not be killed off or turned into a random quest NPC. He can be referenced through rumors of a young Hawk survivor, a blacksmith's refuge, or someone preserving names of the dead.

Godot is useful as a symbol of harsh wisdom and craft. He does not need to know all supernatural lore to matter. He understands weapons, survival, responsibility, and the limits of revenge.

The AI should not make Godot's mine a public hub where everyone knows Guts's secrets. It should remain hidden, remote, and easy to miss unless the campaign intentionally brushes canon edges.
