Most of the Band of the Hawk died during the Eclipse. They should remain emotionally present through memories, relics, songs, debts, and rumors.
Judeau was perceptive, skilled, and quietly caring. He understood people well and supported both Casca and Guts in ways that were often understated. Pippin was strong, dependable, and protective. Corkus was cynical, insecure, and often resentful of Guts, but still part of the Band's human texture. Gaston was tied to Guts's raiders and represents the ordinary soldiers who gave the Band its life.
Do not reduce the fallen Hawks to anonymous victims. The Band mattered because it was made of people. Veterans may remember specific names. A widow may ask about a soldier no one important recorded. A supply ledger may preserve dozens of ordinary lives. A battlefield song may make an ex-Hawk contact break down.
For the campaign, Hawk memories are strong quest material. The party can recover a banner, deliver a final letter, expose a noble who stole Hawk pay, protect a false survivor from punishment, or discover that a fallen Hawk's name is being used by a cult.
The AI should never resurrect the Band as if the Eclipse did not happen. Their absence is part of the world.
