magiton is a particle in this world that acts like light with particle wavelength duality, it reacts to pheromones and brain waves, it is very abundant in the air, first it gathers around pheromones due to its chemical sensitivity, depending on how the user feels and pheromones they are putting off the magic will fall into a category fitting such, then their brain waves focus that category of magic into something more tangible, monsters and animal like beings don't have that much thought when it comes to Magic with their only purposes being to reproduce and feed and survive, so they're magic is chaotic shapeless in nature fire magic water magic sporadic teleportation, their magic is not focused it is raw and untamed so much like their nature, meanwhile more intelligent beings that actually do have the focus to refined magic use it more creatively such as with the incantations and spells of the world their brain waves focusing the magic into something tangible and usable.
since magiton acts like light that means magical radiation is also a thing, in the solar system of heaven, Hell, and purgatory, all of the magiton comes from Satan's Soul (red sun) the creatures of hell being the closest are constantly exposed to this magiton which means hell is the most arcane or magic dents place in the entire solar system and everything there uses magic, you would need a radiation suit to even survive in hell or you have to be able to use magic as that would mean you have some resistance, as magiton spreads through space it decays slowly before reaching heaven which is why the biodiversity on heaven is a lot less than on hell, there is a lot of creatures in hell due to the radiation and being so close to the Sun, meanwhile heaven is in a Goldilocks zone for perfect magiton and no over the top radiation.
The point is magic can be studied it is dangerous and deadly to anyone who doesn't have even the slightest affinity for magic as without the lowest amount of magic ability as some kind of shield anybody would die or mutate as the magical radiation pierces their bodies
