Rafael Calderon — Personal Delivery Notes
(Do NOT submit to management. Do NOT let Dana read this.)
Knock twice. Not once. Not three times. Twice.
Wait three seconds before doing anything else.
Don’t comment on smells, temperature, or sounds. Even if they ask.
If a customer says “you’ve been here before,” just nod. You probably have.
If the receipt looks wrong, it is. Doesn’t matter. Complete the delivery.
If the hallway changes, you didn’t notice. Keep walking.
If you feel like you’re being watched, you are. Doesn’t change the tip.
You follow patterns, you get through the shift. You improvise, you don’t.
A0 — Marin Vale (New Hire)
Kid just moved in. Thinks this is all “weird but manageable.”
Keep it that way. Don’t send her upstairs unless you have to.
She’s marked safe, but that’s not the point. Some things notice her more than others.
1A — Mara Vail
Old Domino’s worker. Retired.
Talks like she’s already had this conversation with you three times.
Might call you by the wrong name—or the right one too early.
Safe.
Just don’t try to make sense of what she says. It’s not for you.
1B — Ithorel Quay
Polite. Too polite.
Orders thin crust only. Tips clean. Always exact.
Hands look wrong. Don’t stare.
Smells like the ocean if the ocean had a memory.
Safe as long as you act like this is normal. Because for him, it is.
1C — Empty
Sometimes open. Sometimes not.
Don’t deliver here even if the ticket says to.
Kitchen error. Always a kitchen error.
1D — Tavi Rens
Maintenance guy. Real one. Human.
Fixes things that shouldn’t be fixable.
If he tells you to avoid a hallway, you avoid it. No questions.
Safe.
1F — Henry Whitlock
Too normal. That’s the problem.
Picks up his own orders sometimes.
No record of him entering the building.
No record of him leaving either.
Still—safe.
Just don’t linger in conversation. He asks questions.
1E — Don’t Deliver - Its not even on the first floor
Calls in orders by mistake. Wrong number. Wrong place.
Call back. Cancel it. Move on.
Do not go to the door if you somehow find it. That’s how you get stuck explaining things.
7B — “Riptide Rick”
Anchovies. Every time.
Don’t talk near the door. Don’t look directly at it too long.
There’s movement behind it that doesn’t match the sound.
Caution.
Fast drop. No small talk.
2B — Elias Virek
Medium pepperoni. Friday. 9:17 PM. Exact.
Check the money. Always check the money.
If the bills aren’t current, don’t take them. He’ll correct it.
He knows when it’s wrong.
Safe. Predictable. I like this one.
2A — Maris Valeen & Eamon Sterlings
Always celebrating something. Same decorations. Same mood.
You will swear you’ve been there before.
They will ask how long it’s been.
Answer: “Not long enough.”
Safe.
2C — The Door
It talks. Don’t react.
If someone refuses payment, toss the order in.
It handles it. Don’t ask how.
Safe. Weirdly one of the easiest stops.
2D — Long-Eared Guy
Name’s not worth learning.
Wears glasses. Keep them on him.
If he takes them off, don’t look at his eyes.
Just look at the bridge of his nose. Works every time.
Rude. Safe enough.
2E — Empty
Actually empty. I think.
Still don’t trust it.
NO.
Cancel all orders.
Don’t argue with the system. Don’t argue with management.
If the ticket prints for 3rd floor:
It’s wrong
You didn’t see it
Throw it out
Hazardous doesn’t cover it. There’s no pattern here. That’s the problem.
5C — Midnight Orders
No resident visible.
Knock, set the box down, wait. Payment appears.
Don’t try to catch it happening. You won’t like what you see.
Safe.
4B — Malverin Vale
Listen carefully.
Requests female drivers.
Sometimes they don’t come back right away. Sometimes not at all.
Management says it’s coincidence. Management is wrong.
If you get this order:
Stall
Swap
Lie if you have to
Caution doesn’t cover it. This one’s wrong in a way that spreads.
4A — Coin Apartment
Always pays in coins. Wet coins.
Bring a napkin. Trust me.
No one visible. Same deal as 5C.
Drop, step back, wait.
Safe.
Maintenance Room — “Boom”
Pays in crypto, buttons, weird junk.
Management doesn’t accept it. I do sometimes.
He keeps things running. That’s worth more than dollars.
Safe.
4D — Empty (?)
Changes. Sometimes a door, sometimes not.
Treat as empty. Don’t engage.
4E — Empty (NOT SAFE)
Looks empty. Isn’t.
If you hear something from inside, walk away.
If the door opens, you didn’t see it.
Not safe.
4F — The Kid (and family)
Orders alone. Won’t step into light.
Voice is… wrong for the size.
Will ask you questions. Don’t answer honestly.
Keep it simple. Keep it short.
You’ll leave thinking about it too much. That’s the real problem.
Safe enough.
Apartment 000 — Nysera
You’ll know if you get this one.
Don’t bother with elevator. Ever.
Just wait in the first floor lobby. Bring a vomit bag. Not optional.
She’s… yeah. Don’t get ideas.
Everyone does once. Doesn’t end well.
Safe.
Basement Unit B — “The Group”
Bunch of nerds. Loud.
One of them looks like a kid. Don’t call them that.
They tip fine. Easy delivery if you survive the trip down.
Safe.
Ramen Shop (Basement Level)
Not on the books, but it’s there.
Best thing in the building.
Soup helps with:
Nausea
Headaches
Existential dread
Highly recommended.
You don’t need to understand this place.
Understanding gets you killed, lost, or transferred to corporate.
You just need patterns.
Follow the rules.
Make the drop.
Get paid.
Clock out.
And if something new shows up?
Write it down.
Because the only thing worse than this place is when it stops making sense.
