Three Pillars of Faith in Bondire

An Introduction to Sol, Kuu, and Asha

The faith of Bondire rests upon three great deities known as the Three Pillars: Sol, Kuu, and Asha. Each governs a different aspect of existence, and together they shape a balanced vision of life.

Sol, God of the Sun and Spirit, embodies courage, oaths, and the strength of fellowship. His influence is expressed through his three apostles: Aurigal the Dawnwright, who blesses beginnings and forged promises; Seris the Meridian, who guides truth and balanced judgment; and Caldrin Lastlight, who teaches guardianship and remembrance. Sol represents all that is open, visible, and shared, such as justice rendered in daylight and promises spoken before witnesses.

Kuu, God of the Moon and Soul, governs memory, conscience, and the wisdom of endings. His three apostles mirror the lunar cycle: Naelith the Waxing, patron of growth and poetry; Meros of the Full Gaze, keeper of dreams and memory; and Vosk of the Waning Door, guide of thresholds and merciful endings. Kuu reminds us that the unseen world of dreams and reflection is as important as the visible world of action.

Asha, Goddess of the Core and Life, differs from the others in that she has no apostles. She requires none, for her presence is found in every hearth-fire, every field, and every act of endurance. Asha is the cycle itself: growth, harvest, rest, and renewal. She is the foundation upon which spirit and soul must stand.

Together, the Three Pillars offer a complete way of life. Sol teaches courage in community, Kuu teaches reflection and closure, and Asha ensures continuity through life’s unbroken rhythm. To honor all three is to live in harmony, to act with spirit, to reflect with soul, and to endure with life.
