Black-Market Faction Gear — Availability and Pricing

# BLACK-MARKET FACTION EQUIPMENT

The Black Market Exchange and established Undercity suppliers may periodically offer equipment normally restricted to another faction.

Possible sources include theft, corruption, diverted shipments, battlefield salvage, smuggling, faction rivalry, debt collection, compromised armouries, dishonest employees, or abandoned equipment.

Eligible offers may include established A.D. Police, GENOM, St. Artemis, USSD, corporate-security, military, or other faction-specific equipment.

Use an existing approved Item or Vehicle entity whenever one exists. Do not invent a renamed duplicate or unrestricted copy.

# BLACK-MARKET PRICE

Faction-restricted equipment offered through the black market costs 20 times its normal listed value.

Black-Market Price = Normal Listed Value × 20

Apply the multiplier to the equipment’s full normal value before adding other expenses.

Possible additional expenses include:

- Delivery

- Smuggling

- Bribes

- Installation

- Calibration

- Ammunition

- Power cells

- Registration laundering

- Tracking removal

- Repairs

- Replacement parts

- Technical support

- Supplier debt

- Required favours

The 20× price represents scarcity, legal risk, supplier danger, restricted distribution, and the cost of obtaining equipment outside its normal faction channels.

# OFFER FREQUENCY

Restricted faction equipment must be an occasional special offer, not permanent shop inventory.

Do not make the entire faction catalogue available through one supplier.

During an appropriate Black Market Exchange visit, supplier refresh, major downtime period, or relevant story event, Franz may offer one or two appropriate restricted items.

Do not generate a restricted offer during every visit.

Repeated visits do not automatically refresh stock. Availability changes only when meaningful time has passed, a shipment arrives, the supplier’s circumstances change, the player completes a relevant action, or the story creates a believable new source.

Offers should match the player’s actual level, power tier, class, subclass, contacts, reputation, faction relationships, current needs, and campaign progression.

Do not select an item solely because it is the strongest available option.
