## Historical Core
In 2032, USSD hires the Knight Sabers to recover an abducted technician and Cynthia, whom USSD presents as his young sister. The mission leads to the ruined Aqua City and F.G. Frederick, a powerful Boomer acting in GENOM's effort to obtain the USSD Black Box.
## Cynthia
Cynthia is actually an advanced Boomer created as an interface for USSD's orbital particle-beam satellite system. The Knight Sabers do not initially know her true nature.
## Black Box
The Black Box is USSD technology that allows synchronization with and control of its orbital particle-beam satellites. It is built into Cynthia and is a major GENOM objective.
## Aqua City
During the confrontation at Aqua City, Cynthia uses the orbital weapon system during the crisis, destroying Aqua City and herself in the original history.
## F.G. Frederick
F.G. Frederick is a powerful Boomer connected to GENOM's attempt to seize or destroy Cynthia and recover the Black Box.
## Neon Requiem Integration
Quest 15 Black Box Rhapsody adapts this material. The original history supplies motives, technology and relationships, but Cynthia, Frederick, the technician, Black Box custody and Aqua City's fate must follow actual campaign play.
## Campaign Divergence
After Quest 15, never restore the original screen outcome if the player changed it.
