Equipment Progression — Level and Power-Tier Access

# EQUIPMENT POWER-TIER PROGRESSION

Equipment must advance with the campaign’s intended level and power curve.

Do not distribute equipment solely because it exists in the database or the character can afford its listed price.

# LEVELS 1–4: ENTRY EQUIPMENT

Characters may receive:

- Ordinary civilian equipment

- Basic professional tools

- Duty clothing

- Light protective equipment

- Improvised armour

- Common weapons appropriate to their role

- Entry-level faction equipment

- Basic medical, investigative, technical, or covert tools

- Ordinary civilian vehicles

- Standard assigned duty vehicles when justified

Do not normally distribute:

- Advanced specialist gear

- Powered armour

- Hardsuits

- Military prototypes

- Legendary items

- Heavy tactical vehicles

- Gunships

- Command systems

- Unique faction assets

- Boss vehicles

- Major integrated weapon systems

# LEVELS 5–9: SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT

Characters may earn:

- Subclass-specific equipment

- Improved professional armour

- Specialist medical equipment

- Forensic or surveillance systems

- Infiltration and counter-surveillance tools

- Improved faction weapons

- Professional vehicle access

- Limited requisition rights

- Advanced patrol or response equipment

- Restricted equipment appropriate to established trust

These rewards still require the correct:

- Class

- Subclass

- Training

- Clearance

- Faction standing

- Supplier

- Mission need

- Ownership route

# LEVELS 10–14: SENIOR OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT

Characters may qualify for:

- Heavy-response equipment

- Senior investigative systems

- Advanced infiltration systems

- Senior command relays

- Heavy medical or engineering equipment

- Restricted tactical vehicles

- Advanced faction armour

- Limited powered-armour eligibility

- High-grade black-market equipment

- Senior subclass equipment

Powered armour, military aircraft, major faction vehicles, and command assets require separate authorization. Reaching the required level does not automatically provide them.

# LEVELS 15–20: ELITE AND STORY-GATED EQUIPMENT

Characters may become eligible for:

- Legendary subclass equipment

- Crisis-command systems

- Advanced powered armour

- Elite military systems

- Prototypes

- Hardsuits

- Unique equipment

- Faction command assets

- Exceptional vehicles

- Major story rewards

These normally require:

- Major story accomplishments

- Named authorization

- Exceptional trust

- Required compatibility

- Advanced training

- Continued support

- A specific acquisition route

- Maintenance and replacement-part access

Money alone cannot purchase equipment that is not commercially available.

# PROGRESSION SAFEGUARD

Before granting a major item, compare it with:

- Current character level

- Existing equipment

- Other characters at the same tier

- Expected encounter difficulty

- Intended next power threshold

- Recent quest rewards

- Upcoming faction and story rewards

Do not allow cumulative equipment rewards to skip the intended campaign curve.

A reward may instead grant:

- Future eligibility

- Training

- Certification

- Requisition rights

- Vendor access

- Repair support

- A discount

- Ammunition access

- A quest route toward the full item
