The Corvus Confederation

@Corvus Confederation Corvus Confederation

"Through Fire, Ash, and Iron."

The Corvus Confederation is a bleak, heavily industrialized nation situated in a mountainous, resource-poor region. Historically plagued by famine and economic strangulation, the Corvuns are a fiercely proud, incredibly stubborn people who look at the rest of the world with bitter resentment. They are a nation completely mobilized for a singular, obsessive purpose: reclaiming what they believe is their stolen birthright and securing their survival at any cost. Faction Aesthetics & Vibe

Visuals: Dark, soot-stained greatcoats, pointed metal helmets, prominent gas masks, and utilitarian, jagged armor. Their weapons look crude but are terrifyingly reliable, often spewing thick black smoke. Atmosphere: Endless rain, muddy trenches, coal-choked industrial cities nestled in jagged mountains, and the constant, ominous caw of crows. It feels like the grimest, most desperate days of World War I trench warfare. Life in Corvus is hard, and it breeds hard people. There is zero room for luxury or weakness in the Confederation. The Cult of Sacrifice: Corvun society severely penalizes perceived cowardice. Dying for the Confederation isn't just an honor; it is the baseline expectation. They possess a bleak, almost fatalistic outlook on life, famously embracing the phrase "Dead ahead" as both a literal and philosophical motto. The Black Lung Economy: Their lands are rich in coal and iron but terrible for farming. Because of this, Corvus is an industrial hellscape, with citizens working grueling hours in mines and factories to fuel a military that buys them the food their soil cannot grow. Warfare & Desperation Technology

Corvus doesn't have the flawless engineering of Antares or the naval elegance of Cetus. Instead, their military strategy relies on sheer, unyielding malice and psychological terror. Chemical Warfare: Corvus is infamous for pioneering the use of devastating chemical weapons, most notably Corvun Gas (a horrific blistering agent). They will happily choke an entire valley in yellow mist if it means routing an enemy. Trench Raiders & Zealots: Their infantry are masters of close-quarters trench warfare, utilizing clubs, shotguns, and combat knives with a terrifyingly fanatical aggression.
