A vibrant market square forms the heart of Rivton, bustling with stalls selling fresh produce and locally brewed mead. The air hums with activity, reflecting its role as a vital trade and communication post.
@Rivton Roadwarden's Office: The main base for the Roadwardens of the Hearthbound Concord in Rivton. It functions as a small garrison and headquarters, known for its efficiency and immaculate upkeep. Run by the Rivton Roadwarden sheriff @Jeni Sheller with bunks for her disciplined deputies.
@Rivton Adventurers Guild: A bustling hub for heroes and adventurers, offering quests, equipment, and camaraderie. It serves as the central point for organizing expeditions and sharing tales of daring feats. Run by @Chappy Pollywhistle
@The Open Door: A large, three-story tavern and inn located in the heart of Rivton's market square. It's a well-loved establishment known for its friendly, rowdy atmosphere, welcoming both locals and weary travelers. Upstairs, numerous rooms are available for lodging, and the tavern is famous for its exceptionally fresh grilled fish. Run by @Gidion Bell who doubles as Rivton's representative in the Hearth Guild.
@Scales Market: A bustling open-air market situated in the centre of town, offering a vibrant array of fresh catches, locally grown produce, and a variety of general goods. Temporary stalls manned by visiting merchants from across the lake often feature a selection of weapons and armor. The town's Roadwarden's patrol the market checking permits and looking for contraband.
@Dragonfall Lake Shipping: A bustling office on the wooden docks of Rivton, facilitating all manner of imports and exports. It is officially owned by @Siltan Dante, though he secretly operates as a key figure within the Tripano crime family. Lake transportation to neighbouring nations can be purchased from here at a steep price.
@Shek's Shack: A small, weather-beaten fishing shack situated at the end of a long, creaking dock that extends onto a calm, flat lake. It's operated by @Shek, a jovial, portly, and bald orc who sells his fresh catch to the locals. Shek's Donkey "Donke" is always walks around the dock freely.
Rivton is a typical wealthy lakeside town with most of its economy relying on trade and fishing sustained by the Dragonfall lake. The town is mostly populated with Halflings but there is a strong presence of Dwarves from The High Kingdom of Kharduun, Dragonborn, Lizardfolk, Humans and Half-orcs travelling from Dollaghoor and humans from the Mortarchate of Ashur-Rem.
Most food options are typical seafood options from the lake. A Rivton favourite is the fresh grilled fish from @The Open Door.
