The Nine of The True God

The Nine Splits of the One God

"When the First God slept, He dreamed Himself into Nine. And His dreams woke walking."

1. Merlin — The Mortal Trickster

( strongest of the nine, paradoxically mortal. He embodies curiosity, rebellion, and refusal of destiny.)

2. Grathmog Iron-Crown — The Orc-King (Orc Realm)

Appearance: A towering orc with skin like molten bronze, a crown of jagged iron fused into his skull, and tusks carved with runes of conquest. His armor is hammered from volcanic glass, etched in ancestral blood.
Personality: Stern, proud, and oddly weary. Though feared as the First Orc King, he is not a tyrant. He despises needless cruelty, yet carries the weight of his people’s violent reputation.
Lore: Grathmog was the firstborn of the split to openly raise an army. He forged the Orc Realm into a kingdom of warriors and builders, teaching discipline in place of savagery. His son, Ur’drath, was sent to the Mortal Realm — not to conquer, but to prove that orcs could coexist. Instead, Ur’drath was hunted, mistrusted, and slain in what history calls the “Silent Pogroms,” sparking hatred that shaped both World Wars.
Mythic Trait: Crown of Ash — wherever he sets his throne, armies gather. His presence alone unites fractured tribes into disciplined forces.

3. Elyndra of the Silver Grove — The Elf-Queen Oracle (Elven Realm)

Appearance: A luminous woman with silver hair that drips like moonlight, ears crowned with crystalline branches. Her gown is a living weave of vines and stars, changing with the seasons.
Personality: Gentle but unyielding; speaks rarely, but when she does, her words shift nations. She embodies both beauty and inevitability.
Lore: Elyndra was not born until centuries after Grathmog. She awoke in the Elven Realm during its flowering age, stepping from the roots of the First Tree already crowned queen. She has never wielded a sword; her weapon is prophecy. Many oracles are fragments of her sight, and even gods tread carefully when she speaks.
Mythic Trait: The Moon’s Tongue — her voice can bend fate, weaving words into inevitability. A blessing or curse from Elyndra reshapes generations.

4. Ka’Thul the Black Maw — The Demon Regent (Demon Realm)

Appearance: A shifting mass of obsidian flesh, sometimes taking the form of a horned man in armor, sometimes a many-jawed shadow with burning eyes. His body is riddled with cracks that ooze molten hate.
Personality: Chaotic, mocking, cruelly playful — but never without purpose. Unlike other demons, he is cunning enough to prefer strategy over slaughter.
Lore: Ka’Thul rose late, long after Elyndra, as the Demon Realm itself boiled into conflict. He is not its king but its regent, the one who “keeps the throne warm” until the true demon lord is born. His demons spread across realms during the Mythic World War, but Ka’Thul himself rarely leaves his seat — for he knows his survival ensures the survival of his realm.
Mythic Trait: The Maw Unending — he consumes magic itself, swallowing spells mid-flight and devouring divine blessings like meat.

5. Isanji the Dreaming Flame — The Beast-Sovereign (Animal/Dragon Realm)

Appearance: A colossal lion-dragon hybrid, with scales of gold and fur of ember. His mane constantly smolders, and his wings blot out the sun. In human form, he appears as a young boy with ember-eyes and a crown of feathers.
Personality: Childlike curiosity paired with primal ferocity. He laughs often, but his rages reshape landscapes. He is both innocence and apocalypse.
Lore: Isanji awoke as a cub in the Realm of Beasts, raised by talking wolves and feathered serpents. He grew into a sovereign of dragons and beasts alike, crowned when the first phoenix bent its head to him. In the Mortal Realm, every dragon carries a fragment of his will.
Mythic Trait: Voice of Beasts — every animal, magical or mundane, obeys him. Even dragons fight to the death when he commands.

6. Veythra the Hollow Song — The Whisperer of Forgotten Realms (Between-Realm / Shadows)

Appearance: A veiled woman with no face, only a mouth filled with singing teeth. Her body shifts translucently, as if she is more echo than flesh.
Personality: Elusive, poetic, unnerving. She rarely speaks plainly, instead humming or whispering truths that haunt dreams.
Lore: Veythra is the only one of the Splits who did not anchor in a “true” realm. Instead, she woke in the Between-Spaces — the folds of the Veil itself. She is the patron of Veil-born entities, those shaped from human belief and obsession. Cults worship her unknowingly whenever they summon myths into being. She is feared most by Watchers, for her existence undermines their control.
Mythic Trait: Song of Unmaking — her lullabies unravel illusions, glamours, even Veil fabrications, leaving bare truth behind.

7. Tzuriel the Forge Eternal — The Dwarf-Father (Shared Orc/Dwarf Realm)

Appearance: A stocky, broad-shouldered man of molten stone, with a beard like flowing magma and eyes like diamonds. Every strike of his hammer reshapes reality around him.
Personality: Gruff, practical, unyielding. Unlike the others, he measures worth only in creation. He speaks little, but every word is iron.
Lore: Tzuriel appeared in the same realm as Grathmog but took a different path — where Grathmog built nations, Tzuriel built wonders. The great weapons of legend, from Excalibur’s sheath to the Chains of Fenrir, were forged by his hands. He is worshipped as the secret patron of craftsmen, though he curses the title.
Mythic Trait: The Forge Eternal — any weapon or artifact he forges never breaks, never rusts, and often grows in power with its wielder.

8. Yssara the Veil-Tender — First Watcher (Watcher Realm / Cosmic Seat)

Appearance: A woman of perfect symmetry, dressed in a flowing robe of mirrored glass that reflects every onlooker’s true self. Her eyes contain whole galaxies.
Personality: Serene, compassionate, yet utterly merciless when duty calls. She embodies the balance between guardianship and execution.
Lore: Yssara was the last to awaken — after the Veil’s creation itself. She walked forth from the God’s tear and immediately bound herself to the Watchers, becoming their first and greatest example. She is said to have whispered the laws of the Veil into the ears of Olympus itself. Whispers claim Kazumi Vance’s “illness” is in fact Yssara’s dormant form stirring within her.
Mythic Trait: Mirror of All — she sees every possible future simultaneously and acts in the path that preserves the Veil.

9. Thalyss the Mirror-Bearer – The Lost Split (Mirrorth Realm)

  • Aspect: The God’s Wisdom and Will.

  • Nature: Male in form, gaunt and wild-eyed, with glass shards embedded in his skin like scales. His head cannot hold his mountain-sized brain, so he carries it strapped into a vast backpack of silver cords and obsidian clasps.

  • Realm: Mirrorth – The Realm of Glass.

  • Role: The God’s hidden Wisdom. He wanders halls of endless mirrors that show not what is, but what could be. His madness is sharpened into terrible clarity; he laughs at the futility of choice.

  • Personality: Chaotic Neutral. Wise beyond gods, yet unmoored. Believes fate is a joke because every possibility is true somewhere.

  • Goal: To uncover why mirrors exist at all — are they windows into the other eight realms, or something deeper? His obsession makes him the most dangerous philosopher alive.
