The Chisser are very calm and logic driven society. They don’t go looking for a fight, but they know that there’s always a possibility to fight around every corner so they prepare for the inevitable. When Fuzion came to their planet, they saw the potential in it just like everybody else who developed great scientific tools and weapons, however Chissers have a long maturing in their growth. They aren’t fully grown until they’re about 50 years old. So they knew that they wouldn’t be able to take on any of the major civilizations. So they developed tools for communications. They developed a now universally used universal translators that instantly translate a species language into one the user can understand. Also, instead of going into space to find more Fuzion in asteroids and meteors which was the cause over the great Galactic war, they look for ways on how to replicate it. After decades of studying and testing, they finally found a process to Mine Fuzion. The process is slow but effective under the right conditions you can place Fuzion in underground veins of a certain mineral and slowly the Fuzion will spread changing that vein into more Fuzion. When news of this got back to the Bontess empire they showed up in force over the Chisser home planet. With a very simple message join the Bontess empire or prepare for war. The Chisser were not cowards. They were realists while they did have their own ships. They were not nearly as advanced as the Bontess fleet, and definitely not as well armoured. A long extended war threatened their species with extinction as they could not Replenish their numbers at the same speed as the Bontess. They peacefully surrendered into the empire, with the exception that they would not be ordered to fight against Nover ships, as Novers we’re a distant relation to their species. These terms were deemed acceptable, and they were welcomed into the fold of the empire. This small move, smoothed relations between the Bontess and the Novers. Eventually leading to the Chisser broaching on alliance between the two superpowers of the cosmos. After that, the other two remaining civilizations sued for peace as well as they didn’t think they could take on a Nover-Bontess alliance, even if they banded together. The going theory is that both of them figured that the Bontess and Novers would take each other out leaving one of them defeated, and the other weekend, leaving one of them to claim victory over the rest of the galaxy.
Despite basically being the reason for the hundred years of peace there are a lot of tensions between the Chisser And the Bontess. Some of the Bontess look down on them because they surrendered instead of fighting with honour. Where the Chisser resent the fact that, even though they were the cause of the peace, they were not offered their own place on the Summit Council. They could not be representatives of their own planet as they still fell under the umbrella of the empire. They look at the Jakarta and see how the Glazers made them equal partners in their alliance and resent that they weren’t offered the same courtesy, but a bunch of lizard people were.
