The 12 Idols

A method of gaining strength, originating in @Nedevelog, specifically the @Isle of the 12 Idols

It features 12 different patterns that when engraved in yourself will grant a new specific spell, but if engraved in a item, it can contain the spell until broken.

In order to gained one of these you must sacrifice a creature, and a cherished item, as well as up to 10 souls.

The list goes as such:

The Idol of Greed, Azazel, who grants the ability to change value, manipulate love, lust, and charisma, and generate valuables.

The Idol of Aura, Big Ragg, who gives you the ability to build charges of "aura" from doing activities that make you seem impressive. These charges can then be used to manipulate the surrounding space in a 5ft cube to an absolute.

The Idol of Destruction, Mephisto, who gives the ability to generate and manipulate the elements of the world, such as lighting, fire, ice, stone, and wind, however if you critically fail its usage, the pattern will explode.

The Idol of Creation, Osha, who allows you to produce objects from yourself, their strength being proportional to your own level, and the strongest of users are said to be able to create entire structures.

The Idol of Protection, Tauros, who grants magical shields, or regeneration, and the regeneration world on items damaged in combat as well, as a form of second life when the item is destroyed.

The Idol of Disease, Kuma, when inscribed will cause disease and decay to all it touches, and will slowly destroy what it is engraved into, and if its a human it is inscribed into, that human will rot alive.

The Idol of Curses, Sisyphus, when inscribed will grant a curse, but there is a single stipulation that the curse cannot directly benefit what it is inscribed in.

The Idol of Freedom, Aegis, when inscribed it can cause a few different effects, being enhanced speed, the ability to jump higher, and float, but its strongest ability is the ability to unlock anything, even metaphysical things such as potential.

The Idol of Fertility, Calypso, when inscribed it allows you to manipulate the size, number, emotion, and soul of something, and the strongest users can manipulate time.

The Idol of Famine, Titania, when inscribed can cause the level of a person to increase, change the shape of something, or in a experienced user, they can fuse souls with objects wither resulting in a living item, or the wielder and weapon becoming one.

The Idol of The Moon, Amaterasu, when inscribed will permit the manipulation of water and darkness, the more experienced the user, the larger the quantity.

The Idol of The Sun, Izanami, when inscribed permits the generation of heat, and manipulation of light, the more experienced the user, the larger the quantity.
