The Beast Artifacts
Visually look like the accessory of Franz choice but with the features of the beast.
Wonderous Item, Accessory (20 Gold to 200 Platinum)
When worn with imbue you with the soul of whatever is placed within, A dc 11 con save is done to see if you are imbued with it, a success means you are immune to that artifact until your next long rest, or permanently immune to that specific artifact if you continue wearing it throughout your long rest. If you fail you are imbued with the soul, and granted the abilities until the artifact is removed, if you remove then equip it again after a failure you wont need to attempt it again, as it is now synchronized with you and you can use the abilities anytime if making contact with the artifact.
The artifact can be granted one of your levels permanently once per long rest.
At level 1 you are able to use the full beast form once per long rest, which will give you access to the beasts abilities, health, ac, and more at the cost of the inability to use your own abilities and weapons.
At level 2 you gain access to the hybrid form, which will be fused with the base character. In hybrid form you will gain the resistances of your full form, a hp boost equal to a 10th of your full beast form, and 2 to 5 abilities/features of said creature.
You aren't able to use the full beast form more than once per long rest but if you attempt to, you must attempt a wisdom save against the beasts ac. A fail means the beast takes over. A success means you can use it again.
While the beast is in control you can reattempt the save once per hour, if the ac is too high to beat, you can fight the beast 1 on 1 in the mindscape. If you lose this fight, the character/npc is "permanently" lost, as their soul is dead but their body is alive and now permanently under control of the beasts soul. a revival will only work if it is able to create an entire new body, such as the spells, Reincarnation or True Resurrection (And possibly wish, but this is up to Franz), however these would either require you to take the soul from @The Underdeath or by finding the beast itself and casting the spell on it.
If you wish to attempt an awakening you would need to first have a range of 3 to 10 levels (depending on beast strength, which Franz can decide how many, but for example a cr 5 and lower creature would only need 3 or 4, but a cr 20 would require 9 or 10) transferred to the artifact, which can come from anyone, but the artifact must be worn by you when attempting to awaken it. Second you must find a middle ground with the beasts soul, once done you will be able to access the awakening. However if you attempt to use it while you and your beast are at a disagreement you will be unable to.
When awakened you will be able to use all of your beasts abilities without entering the fill beast form. However you will be a size larger than your beast form, if your size class cannot increase more then you will still increase on the battle map, while being considered the same size class. On top of having access to all abilities and the increased size class you will be have the abilities to use your beast abilities with your normal ones, for example if your character innately had a breath weapon, and so did their beast, then these would be combined into a duel element breath weapon. However the ability fusion will only happen in the 2 abilities are closely related, for example a breath weapon wouldn't combine with chromatic orb or fireball.
