Why Moonveil Lycans Lean Toward Qi

After a wayward monk outlived a near-death experience through the aid of some friendly lycanthropes, the monk decided to live with the tribe, eventually sharing his secrets. Moonveil tradition learned long ago that lycanthropes had an innate advantage in honing Qi. These traditions include movement drills and breath control patterns that resemble monk disciplines.
Lycans already carry an inherent advantage for Qi cultivation due to their regenerative enzymes and heightened internal energy pathways.

Result: trained Moonveil lycans learn Qi faster than most humans and can sustain higher output before collapse.

Training Doctrine (Moonveil Discipline)

The Three Chains:

  2. Mind Chain: control emotion under provocation

The Four Failures: punishable offenses

After the Hircine revelations, many Moonveil reject him as a god but keep the hunt as tradition.
