Hollowmere Bastion

“When faith failed, iron endured.”

A fortress-city built on ruin, Hollowmere Bastion was once a crusader stronghold of the Embered Church. When their gods fell silent, the survivors cast away prayer and took up iron as creed. The Iron Creed believes salvation lies only in endurance: flesh must harden, hearts must not break.

The Bastion burns perpetually — not with faith, but with forges. The air smells of rust and blood; sparks fall like snow. Warriors of the Creed undergo the Binding, fusing armor into flesh until they no longer distinguish body from weapon.

Yet within their silence lies a strange nobility — they do not seek conquest, only to outlast despair. In their eyes, to survive another dawn is the highest form of worship.

Tone: stoic suffering; industrial martyrdom.
