Mournglade Fjord Bestiary

Mournglade Fjord — Where the Sea Froze Mid-Scream

  • Icebound Mariners – Sailors entombed in frost, still rowing phantom ships beneath the ice.

  • Sirens of the Frostglass – Pale, eyeless spirits who sing beneath frozen water, luring the grieving to join them.

  • The Bellwraith – A ghostly figure heard as a toll before seen; rings a sunken bell for each new death.

  • Driftspawn – Amalgams of fish and human corpses, fused by the cold into shuddering shapes.

  • Frost Choir Ascendant – Cultists who froze themselves mid-hymn; their voices echo as lethal harmonics.

  • The Glacial Widow – Tall, elegant phantom cloaked in frost-veils; embraces travelers to “keep them warm.”

  • Hollow Seals – Corpulent beasts with faces eerily human; their cries sound like drowning prayers.

  • Mirror Crawlers – Insectile horrors under the ice that mimic the faces of those above.

  • Frozen Saints – Statues of drowned clergy in the ice, animate on moonless nights to lead false pilgrimages.

  • The Leviathan Beneath – A shadow the size of a cathedral beneath the ice; only its eye has ever been seen.

    Mini-Bosses:

    • Salt Widow – Ghost bride who lures sailors to drown.

    • Drowned Knight – Rusted armor filled with black water.

    • Bellwarden of the Depths – Rings a drowned bell to summon tides of corpses.

  • Bosses:

    • The Mourning Mother – Drowned goddess of mercy; commands the tide with her lament.

    • Leviathan of the Deep Hymn – Massive sea creature wrapped in chains and relics.
