The Bastyr Guardian

No one knows who Bastyr truly was. The hooded figure has stood alone for longer than any written history, yet the same name occasionally appears in old travel journals and pilgrims' tales connected to distant places across Eldrath.

One such place is @The Spring of Lethis. Pilgrims who visit the spring often speak of an unseen guardian named Bastyr, though none can explain why the name is linked to a silent statue standing far away in the wilderness. Whether Bastyr was once a real person, a title carried by many, or something older than history itself remains unknown.

Travelers traditionally greet the statue before continuing their journey, believing it quietly watches over those who show respect. A few insist the figure has changed its posture over the years, while others claim fresh footprints sometimes appear around its base after snowfall, despite no one ever being seen nearby.
