Emerald Shores was an rpg video game series in the late 90s to 2000s that was developed by a company known as pyroclastic games, a company based in hawaii that was founded by a Japanese immigrant and a native haiwaiin. It had several games that were known for their convoluted plots and engaging gameplay. The setting was set on a tropical island known as Emerald Shores. The bright setting and upbeat music set it apart from other rpgs and games at the time. The last game made was in 2006, after nearly 20 years a new entry has been made. Known as Emerald Shores Online. This time however it has been made into a mmo and its popularity has exploded.
