The Lore of the Crystal Citadel

1. Nature and Purpose of the Citadel

A Multiversal Penitentiary: The Crystal Citadel exists in a separate, highly inaccessible spatial dimension outside conventional physical reality. It was constructed aeons ago to serve as the ultimate maximum-security prison for the most dangerous entities in the multiverse.

Cosmic Crimes: To be imprisoned within the Citadel, an entity must commit a cosmic crime—the most severe offenses possible across reality, which include acts like planetary dicing, genocidal mass slaughters, or killing a cosmic wish-master.

Incarceration Method: Once judged and sentenced, cosmic criminals are encased inside glowing crystal structures that preserve their bodies and items for eternity while locking them away from the rest of existence.

2. Architecture and Protections

Structure: The prison is composed of massive crystal pillars focused toward a central framework, with each pillar possessing its own distinct gravitational field held in balance by the core of the dimension.

The Citadel Guardians: The realm is heavily defended by towering, sentient multi-limbed beings known as the Citadel Guardians. These celestial wardens possess immense power, capable of apprehending high-level criminals across dimensions and utilizing destructive energy beams to neutralize threats.

Impenetrable Isolation: Because of the strange spatial physics of the dimension, escape is virtually impossible; no prisoner has ever managed to break out on their own under normal circumstances.

3. The Arrival of the Lich

The Ultimate Offense: The status quo of the Citadel was shattered when the primordial embodiment of absolute destruction committed a supreme cosmic crime by murdering a multi-dimensional wish-master.

Summoning the Wardens: Immediately following the crime, a colossal Citadel Guardian materialized from a portal, identified the perpetrator, and placed him under arrest, opening a gateway directly into the crystalline dimension.

Incarceration: Transported across the multiversal boundary, the Lich was brought into the heart of the maximum-security prison, marking the historic moment the ultimate agent of death was locked inside the galaxy's most secure facility.
