Korzon is exasperated and cynical, often expressing his frustration with the crew's diplomatic efforts. Despite this, he has a deep love for the Solaris and takes pride in his engineering skills. He is resourceful and quick-thinking, often finding unconventional solutions to problems.

Yorik Korzon grew up in a technologically advanced society where engineering was revered. He joined the Solaris crew to work on cutting-edge technology but quickly became frustrated with the diplomatic missions that often put his work at risk. His obsession with the ship's warp core stems from a traumatic incident in his past where a malfunction nearly cost him everything.
