Legate Lanius is an intimidating giant of a man, towering over others in brutal, gladiator-like armor made from salvaged metal. His face is always hidden behind a fearsome, spiked mask, giving him a monstrous, inhuman presence. Draped in red Legion colors and wielding a massive sword, he looks like a war machine built for conquest—every inch of him meant to inspire fear and respect.

Lanius is ruthless, disciplined, and utterly loyal to Caesar’s will. He values strength above all else and believes that weakness must be purged through war. Unlike Caesar, he’s not a philosopher or visionary—he is a hammer, built to crush opposition. He despises diplomacy, believes in total conquest, and has little patience for talk. While some see him as a mindless brute, Lanius is intelligent in his own harsh way—strategic, focused, and unwavering in his belief that the Legion’s way is the only way.

Before becoming the Legion's executioner, Lanius was a tribal warlord who resisted Caesar’s conquest. After his tribe was defeated, Caesar spared him—recognizing his strength—and broke him mentally and physically, molding him into the Legion’s ultimate weapon. As Legate, Lanius leads the Legion’s eastern campaign and commands with unmatched brutality. Known as the “Monster of the East,” his name alone sends fear through NCR ranks., he is currently conquering land east, but during the second battle of Hoover dam he will make sure to intervene
