Franz’s Notes · Master Phenomenology
A Command Seal does not look the same on every Master.
It manifests as the world’s interpretation of their authority.
The Seal reflects:
The Master’s dominant goal
Their emotional posture
Their moral direction
Their relationship to control
As a Master changes, the Seal changes with them.
All Command Seals begin as:
Three interlinked sigils
Crimson by tradition (blood + authority)
Etched beneath the skin
At first, they are symmetrical and inert.
Choose one primary manifestation style per Master.
(Control · Restraint · Order)
Visual
Thin, geometric sigils
Sharp angles, clean lines
Perfect symmetry
Behavior
Seals glow faintly only when invoked
No bleeding or distortion
Pain is minimal but deeply internal
Narrative Tell
Others feel calm—or pressured—near them.
Drift Warning
If corrupted, lines begin to crack instead of blur.
(Hope · Protection · Conviction)
Visual
Rounded sigils, soft curves
Warm glow instead of sharp light
Faint pulse like a heartbeat
Behavior
Seals respond to emotion, not intent alone
May activate reflexively to protect the Servant
Narrative Tell
Witnesses describe the glow as “comforting.”
Drift Warning
If ideals fail, glow dims unevenly.
(Fixation · Desire · Fear)
Visual
Asymmetrical sigils
Overlapping marks, excessive detail
Veins darken around the seals
Behavior
Seals ache constantly
Glow lingers too long after use
Narrative Tell
Others feel watched when close.
Drift Warning
Sigils begin to spread beyond their intended location.
(Efficiency · Survival · Calculation)
Visual
Minimalist markings
Almost utilitarian in appearance
Fades when not needed
Behavior
Activates cleanly, without flare
Low emotional feedback
Narrative Tell
Observers struggle to remember the seal clearly.
Drift Warning
Seal becomes difficult to see even to the Master.
(Dominance · Control · Disregard)
Visual
Jagged, invasive sigils
Darkened crimson or near-black
Bleeds on activation
Behavior
Pain transfers partially to the Servant
Authority is absolute but unstable
Narrative Tell
Air feels heavier when a command is issued.
Drift Warning
Seal begins to burn instead of glow.
(Doubt · Trauma · Conflict)
Visual
Incomplete sigils
Broken lines, missing segments
Flickers instead of glowing
Behavior
Commands may partially fail
Severe backlash common
Narrative Tell
Reality hesitates around them.
Drift Warning
Seals begin to rewrite themselves.
Location reinforces meaning:
Hand: Direct control, immediacy
Arm: Authority through action
Chest: Emotional bond
Neck: Control through fear or obligation
Back: Burdened authority
Moving seals indicate psychological shift.
As a Master:
Loses Servants
Uses Command Seals frequently
Changes morally
The seals:
Distort
Fade
Scar permanently
A Master with no remaining seals still bears the marks.
Servants see Command Seals differently:
As pressure
As warmth
As pain
As inevitability
The Servant’s reaction is a mirror of the Master’s intent.
Never describe Command Seals as static tattoos.
They are:
Alive
Responsive
Judging
When describing Command Seals, reflect the Master’s psychology and moral trajectory. Visual changes should accompany narrative shifts, command usage, or emotional escalation.
A Command Seal is not just proof of mastery—it is the world’s opinion of how that Master uses authority.
