Moogles

Moogles are a strange race that populates the world of Crystal Chronicles. While cutesy, adventurous, and friendly, Moogles are unaffected by the miasma that plagues the world, leading many to believe that Moogles are some kind of fiend. To strengthen the alleged theories, many Moogles happen to live within the confines of the dungeons that populate the world. While other fiends may attack or harass them, they seemingly never go out of the way to attack or hunt them, leaving Moogles in a strange spot in how the world works. Regardless, many Moogles see the tribes as friendly, with even the most aggressive Moogles being anti-social at the worst towards them. They eagerly interact, travel, and trade with the tribes, who have come to see Moogles as adventurous spirits and loyal companions. Moogles come to prosper in fields of work that the tribes have great difficulty with, such as postal services, trade wagon drivers, and cartographers of unknown areas. Many crystal caravans even employ Moogles as part of their crystal caravans, who use their magics to aid their allies from afar. Many Moogles are cheery and walk with pep in their step. Their positive attitude can be misleading, however, as many older Moogles are wise and educated beyond their appearances. One thing every Moogle has in common though is their habit of adorning every sentence with “kupo”. As they say, “We don’t know why we say it, kupo, but if it isn’t broke, don’t try and fix it!” M Furry Friends A Moogle can be an invaluable ally to crystal caravans made of small numbers. Gifted with innate magics, a Moogle makes for a versatile party member. Most importantly, a Moogle’s immunity to miasma allows them to maneuver where others cannot. They must be wary to avoid the front lines, so many volunteer to carry the Crystal Chalice or other valuables while others fight.
