Selkie Tribe.

These rugged individualists clothe themselves in fur decorated with stolen goods. Unlike other tribes, they believe in putting themselves first. Many Selkies are agile and athletic, traits they put to good use as thieves. Though the other tribes tend to scorn them, some Selkie now reside in Clavatian villages.

Selkie ueled by their insatiable lust for adventure, Selkies prowl the lands as any profession that can bring a sense of excitement to their fingertips. It is rare to find Selkie villages, as they are nomadic by heart, yet the ones that do settle into sedentary lives usually choose to live in arid climates or secluded islands. The other tribes of the world have varying views of Selkies. While some individuals see Selkies as charismatic and aloof revelers that bask in the chaos of life, many others see Selkies as wandering ne’erdo-wells, bringing havoc and madness with them wherever they go. Due to this outlook, it is rare to see Selkies in permanent residence in villages with other tribes. Times change, however, and many Selkies are determined to calm their hot-blooded behavior for a chance to live in larger and more fortified settlements. Selkies resemble Clavats superficially, though they sport wild hair of a strange color and don extravagant furs atop their traditional lightweight garb. It is rare to see two Selkies that resemble one another, as many use their hair and clothing to express the Selkies’ desire of artistic individuality. Many Selkies possess a natural charisma of sorts, being quite attractive and personable on average. While many Selkies make great ambassadors and businessmen, this sadly tempts many Selkies to use this to their advantage to hustle those who fall victim to their charms in various schemes. Regardless of their behavior, many Selkies are naturally gifted artists, craftsmen, and musicians.
