Bloodroot Valley
Bloodroot Valley
Bloodroot Valley was settled early as a logging frontier, taking its name from the crimson-hued plants dotting its hills. Its remote forests and hidden ravines discouraged large-scale industrialization, leaving ruins of early homesteads, logging camps, and underground subway experiments. By the 1960s, small communities clustered here, attracted to its natural beauty and isolation. The Shadow Claw Pack recognized the valley’s spiritual potency, using its abandoned tunnels as conduits to maintain Umbral contact. Today, Bloodroot is eerie and secretive: faint red light filters through the thick canopy, and whispering spirits haunt the pathways. Garou packs use it as both sanctuary and training ground, while humans largely avoid it due to old legends of disappearances and the uncanny phenomena that ripple through its ancient woods. The valley’s blend of natural and urban decay makes it a liminal space where the living, dead, and supernatural intersect.
