Jīvanmṛta, Queen of the Dead

Jīvanmṛta, Queen of the Dead, exists in the liminal space between The Physical Plane, The Spiritual Plane and Hell, a primordial force of undeath whose true nature remains uncertain, whether truly a god, a dead god come back to life or an entity of ancient power beyond mortal comprehension. Her cult, the Piśāca, fully coalesced during the unification of the towns that became Gnossienne, sharing her vision of an undead utopia as the next stage of evolution and the only path to true immortality. Those who fail to meet her standards or reject her authority are transformed into shambling zombies or barely sentient undead monstrosities, ensuring that devotion or death is the only option. Through her influence, a part Gnossienne became a hellscape of undeath following the Second Shift: the bodies of the fallen were transformed into zombies or twisted monstrosities, and brought under her dominion. She appears as a pale, mummified skeletal woman, her head crowned with a collection of spines of varying lengths, with pleura tissue draping with it, resembling long hair, while her eye sockets glow with lightly blue-tinted green orbs that pierce the darkness. She wears a long, bone-crafted dress, its bodice composed of ribs and collarbones, the segmented skirt formed of vertical lines of vertebrae filled with articulated layers of bone, each piece moving as if alive. Every aspect of her presence embodies undeath, dominion, and the relentless drive to remake the world in her vision, marking her as both ruler and inevitable inevitability over all who die.
