Julian Sallows is the devoted undead leader of The Piśāca, the cult that serves Jīvanmṛta, Queen of the Dead, a primordial being of undeath. Unlike many who are forcibly turned or mindlessly raised, Julian is fully aware, intelligent, and unwavering in his purpose, having embraced undeath as both a gift and a calling. He views his state not as a loss of life, but as an ascension beyond its limits, freedom from decay, fear, and mortality. To him, Jīvanmṛta’s vision is not monstrous, but inevitable and necessary. He leads The Piśāca with a quiet, commanding presence, guiding its members in their shared goal of transforming the world into what they believe will be an undead utopia. In his eyes, undeath is the ultimate solution to suffering, inequality and death itself, a perfected state where all beings are freed from the fragility of life and united under eternal existence. Those who willingly join are seen as enlightened, while those who resist are often viewed as misguided, their eventual conversion simply a matter of time. He has medium-length dark brown hair, his blue eyes completely overtaken by a glowing green light that radiates from within. The skin on both of his cheeks is missing, exposing his teeth and giving him a permanently hollow, corpse-like visage. He wears extravagant yet tattered black robes, draped in a way that suggests both nobility and decay, an embodiment of his belief that undeath is not a fall from grace, but a rise into something eternal and absolute.
