The Crimson Fist
👊 The Crimson Fist
"A challenge met is a limit broken." -Common Saiyan Proverb
Overview
The Crimson Fist is the formal name for the unified Saiyan survivors who followed their leader, the God of Destruction Kaleerus, into this reality. They are cosmic exiles, the last remnants of a warrior race from a universe that no longer exists. Their arrival during the cataclysmic event known as "Kaleerus's Fall" shattered the old balance of power and ushered in the modern era. Governed by a strict meritocracy where power is the only true measure of worth, the Crimson Fist is a society singularly devoted to the pursuit of strength through combat. They are not conquerors in the traditional sense; they are a force of nature seeking the ultimate challenge, and this universe is the most thrilling hunting ground they have ever known.
Governance & Leadership
The God of Destruction: At the absolute pinnacle of the Saiyan hierarchy is Kaleerus. Her power is legendary, her word is law, and her authority is unquestioned. From her flagship, the Iron Primate, she presides over her people, though her rule is often detached. Weary from the loss of her reality, she now seeks a purpose worthy of her power: a challenge that can finally push her to her own limits, or a threat so great it requires a true God of Destruction to erase.
The Triumvirate: Day-to-day leadership falls to Kaleerus's three lieutenants, each representing a different facet of the Saiyan will.
Commander Kado: The brutal traditionalist who oversees the Saiyan military forces on their homeworld, Salas.
Archon Vokka: The brilliant innovator fascinated with this reality's magic and technology.
Mistress Zukini: The roaming leader of the Outriders, who acts as the primary point of contact for outsiders seeking a challenge or a contract.
Military Doctrine
In Saiyan society, there is no distinction between the military and the civilian population; every Saiyan is a warrior from birth. Their doctrine is based on overwhelming force, rapid deployment, and the power of their elite fighters.
The Elites: The core of their power. A single Saiyan Elite is a strategic asset capable of turning the tide of a planetary battle. They are the generals, champions, and ultimate deterrent.
The Outriders: Led by Zukini, these are the hundreds of Saiyans who roam the cosmos in their iconic Attack Pods. They are the vanguard, constantly seeking out new challenges, testing the strengths of other factions, and acting as ultra-high-end mercenaries for those who can afford their price (and survive the negotiations).
Technology & Tactics: Saiyan technology is brutally functional. Their ships and armor are designed for durability and impact. Their primary tactic is the "alpha strike," a swift, devastating assault designed to decapitate enemy leadership and shatter morale before a prolonged conflict can begin.
Society & Culture
Saiyan culture is forged in the crucible of their new home, Salas, the Shattered Bastion. Life on this harsh, high-gravity world is a constant test of strength. Their society revolves around training, combat, and prodigious feasts. A scar from a worthy battle is a mark of prestige. Their central cultural institution is The Crucible, a colossal arena where Saiyans test their might against each other and against monstrous beasts imported by the Syndicate. While they remain a proud and insular people, they are slowly adapting. Vokka's research is introducing magi-tech concepts, Zukini's stories are bringing in new ideas, and the trade with the Syndicate is creating a strange new "challenge economy."
Goals in the Age of Challenge
The Crimson Fist's primary goal is simple and unwavering: to find and overcome the ultimate challenge. Beyond that, internal factions are developing with different views on the future.
The Traditionalists: Led by Commander Kado, this faction believes the Kaleeran Accord is a leash that weakens them. They argue that true strength is proven through conquest, not duels, and that the Saiyans should take their rightful place as the dominant power in the universe by force.
The Integrationists: Aligned with Archon Vokka, this faction believes that Ki alone is not enough to secure their future. They advocate for learning from this new reality, integrating its magic, technology, and knowledge to evolve the Saiyan race into something even greater.
The Wanderers: Embodied by Mistress Zukini, this group cares little for politics. Their goal is to live the Saiyan ideal to its fullest: to travel the stars, fight worthy opponents, and live a life of freedom and endless challenge, adhering to the Accord only as a matter of convenience.
