The Veridian Concordance’s Star-Whisperers felt a sudden, sharp “pain” in the Great Bloom, a discordant note in the cosmic song.

Within hours, the "star" resolved into a fleet of meteor-like objects moving at impossible speeds. They were the Saiyan Attack Pods, and they were on a direct course for the heart of the civilized galaxy.
