Doctrine & Philosophy
The Muse teaches that true good is found in raw, honest emotion and the courage to express it. She believes that a single act of breathtaking creation, a passionate speech, or a song of rebellion can change the world more profoundly and permanently than a thousand laws or a thousand wars. She is the patron of all who fight oppression, not with armies and fleets, but with ideas, inspiration, and the indomitable fire of the mortal spirit. She believes that a single, heartfelt story is the universe's most powerful weapon.
Appearance & Manifestations
The Muse is a being of pure, vibrant, and ever-changing creative energy. She rarely takes a single, static form. She might manifest as a dancer made of pure starlight, a singer whose voice is a physical wave of impossible colors, or a being of living, harmless fire that takes a vaguely humanoid shape. Her form is never the same twice, a perfect embodiment of her portfolio of endless creation. Her presence is always accompanied by faint, beautiful music and a feeling of profound inspiration.
Plots & Goals in the Age of Challenge
In an age of fear and creeping tyranny, The Muse's work is more vital than ever. Her goal is to fan the flames of hope and passion across the galaxy.
Fanning the Flames: She is the whisper of inspiration in the artist's ear, the perfect chord for the musician, and the fire in the revolutionary's heart. She sends visions to downtrodden people to inspire them to create art of protest and blesses Bards with the power to counter despair with hope.
A Clash of Ideals: Her natural rivals are the gods of absolute order, especially Asmodeus, but she also finds herself in philosophical conflict with the rigid laws of Sol Invictus. She believes the Imperium's perfect order is often a gilded cage for the soul, and she will gladly lend her divine aid to those who seek to break free through art and rebellion.
The Uninspired Warriors: She views the Saiyans with a mixture of pity and fascination. She sees their immense passion but finds their culture, so focused on combat, to be creatively barren. She is deeply intrigued by what might happen if a Saiyan could be inspired to channel their incredible emotional power not into a Ki blast, but into a work of art or a song of their lost people.
