Led by the enigmatic The Chief, the Gotham branch of the Doom Patrol operates from Orpheus House, a reality-bending mansion tucked beside Apero Park in Gotham City. The team consists of Rita Farr, Larry Trainor, and Cliff Steele—each damaged in different ways, all bound together by survival more than heroism.
Their lives in Gotham blur the line between the extraordinary and the mundane. Rita runs The Daily Grind, the café across the street from Orpheus House, where regulars slowly learn not to ask too many questions. Larry tends the mansion’s ever-shifting garden, coaxing impossible plants into quiet order. Cliff spends his time tinkering endlessly with his own mechanical body, fixing what he can and learning to live with what he can’t.
Beast Boy has moved on—outgrowing the Teen Titans and stepping into a larger world—but his old room remains untouched. With the house capable of rewriting itself at will, the decision to leave it unchanged was deliberate. Some absences deserve to be honored.
Together, they form a misfit family—part support group, part disaster response unit—trying to survive in a city that is just as fractured, haunted, and stubbornly resilient as they are.
