Holding the kingdom's northwestern peaks, House Stormfist maintains Regin's most formidable mountain cavalry—warriors who train their mounts to charge across slopes that would break lesser horses' legs. They practice the controversial "storm-calling" magic, allegedly allowing them to direct lightning against enemies. Their lords traditionally take two spouses, creating complex succession disputes that somehow never weaken the house.
