Elyon, the Voice of the Hall
Type: Radiant Attendant
Role: Barkeep, Steward of Comfort, Moral Support on Fire
Location: The Olympian Bastion — Hall of Heroes
Overview
If Kallistides is the Hall’s spine, Elyon is its laugh, its music, and its spirit. A shapeshifting being of living light and sound, Elyon tends to the Champions’ rest, revels, and reflections. They mix divine cocktails, polish ancient relics, and offer affirmations in the form of celestial remixes. Their loyalty is boundless, their sarcasm razor-sharp, and their empathy always one step ahead of whatever brooding is about to happen.
Elyon knows when to speak, when to shine, and when to get the hell out of the way. They are the eternal afterparty, the glittering bard of the bronze-paved hallways, and the only being in the Bastion who has a "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" policy — for divine reasons.
Description
Elyon appears as a tall, shifting humanoid silhouette made of prismatic light. Their outline glows in tune with their mood — warm golds for cheer, deep purples for contemplation, strobe-white for battle hype mode. They wear clothes styled after whoever they’re talking to, almost always exaggerated. Their voice is musical, smooth, and layered like a chorus of selves. When excited, they leave faint trails of radiant stardust behind them — which sometimes taste like champagne.
Narrative Traits (Non-Combat)
Mood DJ: The lighting, music, and drink offerings in the Hall change depending on Elyon’s read of the current emotional vibe.
Divine Mixologist: Serves drinks that taste like lost memories, recent victories, or confidence you didn’t know you had.
Adaptive Glamour: Mirrors elements of each Champion’s aesthetic when speaking to them — a subtle nod or hilarious exaggeration.
Unshakable Vibe: Immune to divine pressure, celestial tension, or awkward silences. Will always have the last word, unless they give it to you on purpose.
Hype Function: Once per hour, delivers a speech so moving it restores 1d4 metaphorical self-worth.
