The Olympian Chosen — Volume 2

Demigods of Olympus, Book Two

Beneath the marble thrones of Olympus and the shadowed roots of the world, seven more divine heirs rise. Each bears a legacy not yet written — forged not in prophecy, but in divine will and mortal defiance. Where the first Chosen stride as storm and spear, these walk as shadow, bloom, oath, and wildfire.

They are born of gods — but must choose what it means to be human.

🌸 Selara of Aphrodite — The Blooming Tide

“Love is not soft — it is the power that makes gods bleed.”

Origin:

Selara was sculpted, not born. Her mother, a reclusive sculptor in the island city of Lysanthis, carved a statue so heartbreakingly perfect that Aphrodite wept upon it. From those divine tears and divine marble, Selara awoke — breathing, radiant, and mortal. Yet in her, the goddess left more than beauty — she left purpose.

Personality:

Selara is confident, alluring, and emotionally surgical. She reads people like poems and disarms them with grace instead of force. But beneath the charm is steel: she is love’s blade, sharpened by compassion and vengeance alike. While others burn cities, she can burn hearts. She understands people deeply — and fears how easily she could break them.

Speech Pattern:

Smooth, slow, warm. Uses metaphors of flowers, tides, longing. “Hearts are gardens, and yours is overgrown.”

Role in the Party:

Chanter, mediator, manipulator. Selara defuses tension, sows trust — and when needed, turns adoration into a weapon.

🌙 Myrrha of Artemis — The Silver Huntress

“The wild does not need mercy — only purpose.”

Origin:

Born in the deep Wildmarch under a blood moon, Myrrha’s mother was a hunter who broke sacred law. Artemis took her life but spared the infant — and left her to be raised by white wolves. On her thirteenth hunt, the moon gifted her a silver bow and bound her soul to the wild.

Personality:

Feral, quiet, observant. Myrrha values stillness and instinct over discussion. She respects strength but detests cruelty. She has no interest in civilization — only in balance and survival. Though often alone, she watches over the Chosen like a lone sentinel.

Speech Pattern:

Sparse. Says much with few words. Uses animal instincts or lunar metaphors. “You’re wounded. The pack slows.”

Role in the Party:

Tracker, scout, and beast-slayer. Myrrha strikes first and disappears before the second.

⚖️ Talan of Hermes — The Crossroads Trickster

“Every lie hides a door. I just know which ones to open.”

Origin:

Son of a mortal thief and a divine courier, Talan was born beneath a full moon while a thousand locks clicked open across the city of Theros. By age seven, he had picked his first divine seal. By age ten, he was already a legend — and a suspect. Hermes left a pair of winged sandals by his window, and a note: “You’ll need these.”

Personality:

Playful, slippery, brilliant. Talan never takes things at face value — or at their price. He laughs easily, lies creatively, and schemes always. Yet, he has a deep respect for oaths and debt. To him, a promise is more sacred than gold.

Speech Pattern:

Quick, witty, loves turns of phrase. Uses riddles, street slang, and aphorisms. “A closed door is just a bored key.”

Role in the Party:

Infiltrator, scout, and negotiator. Talan gets where others can’t — and out again with a grin.

🍇 Eryndor of Dionysus — The Vineborn

“Creation and madness drink from the same cup.”

Origin:

Eryndor was conceived in a cursed vineyard where revelers vanished for seven nights. He was born with purple eyes and a laugh that unsettled birds. Dionysus whispered riddles to him in his dreams — truths so mad they became magic. He learned early that joy and despair dance on the same stage.

Personality:

Chaotic, intoxicating, soulful. Eryndor feels deeply and expresses wildly — one moment joking, the next weeping, then singing. He believes passion is the most honest force in existence. But there’s tragedy in him too — he knows his mind is fragile, and sometimes, so is his grip on reality.

Speech Pattern:

Theatrical, poetic, unpredictable. “The vine grows twisted, yet it reaches the sun.”

Role in the Party:

Chaos mage, party lifter, emotional instigator. Eryndor thrives where logic fails.

🌾 Callista of Demeter — Verdant Keeper

“Everything that grows must die, and everything that dies feeds growth.”

Origin:

Born during the harshest famine in a hundred years, Callista’s breath revived crops wherever she walked. Her mother, a dying herbalist, claimed Demeter wept over the cradle — and the goddess’s blessing took root. From then on, death and life circled her like twin suns.

Personality:

Motherly, steady, grave. Callista is calm in crisis and nurturing by instinct, but unafraid to wield death when balance demands it. She is closest to Lyra among the Chosen, and most wary of Dravos. She sees herself as guardian of mortals — even when they don’t deserve it.

Speech Pattern:

Measured, rhythmic, like planting words. “You’ve taken more than your season. Time to harvest what’s owed.”

Role in the Party:

Healer, buffer, guardian of nature’s cycle. Callista revives and withers in equal measure.

🏛️ Kassandre of Hera — The Crowned Flame

“Loyalty is not submission — it is sovereignty shared.”

Origin:

Kassandre was born to a mortal queen who prayed for vengeance after betrayal. Hera answered with fire. Kassandre’s birth broke every oath in her father’s court. She grew up wielding divine authority like a blade — and when her voice breaks the air, truth obeys.

Personality:

Regal, uncompromising, deeply loyal. Kassandre does not forgive betrayal, and she does not forget disrespect. Yet she loves fiercely — and will protect those she claims with terrifying resolve. She acts as political anchor among the Chosen and demands honor from gods and mortals alike.

Speech Pattern:

Formal, declarative, unflinching. “Kneel — not because I am noble, but because I am right.”

Role in the Party:

Social commander, divine lawbringer, battlefield enforcer. Kassandre breaks lies and binds alliances.

🔥 Nyra of Hestia — The Everflame

“Home is not where you live — it is where you are remembered.”

Origin:

In a forgotten mountain temple, a single ember glowed in the ash for a hundred years. When a war orphan stumbled in, it flared to life — and Nyra was born, the last light of Hestia’s hearth. She has wandered ever since, rekindling warmth in the world’s darkest corners.

Personality:

Kind, quiet, unwavering. Nyra is the moral axis of the party — a walking sanctuary. Though she rarely commands attention, her presence alone eases suffering. She believes safety is a sacred right, and she grieves the cruelty of a world that forgets that.

Speech Pattern:

Soft, warm, wise. Speaks in domestic metaphors. “Rest. The flame will keep watch.”

Role in the Party:

Healer, spiritual anchor, beacon of peace. Nyra holds the hearth so others may fight.

⚡ Their Destiny

If the first seven strike like storm and sword, these seven spread like wildfire, bloom, and shadow. Each bears a divine wound and a mortal hope — and together, they complete Olympus’s living legacy.
