A secret land hidden behind a wall of fog in another dimension, where you're given the second chance

Author's Note: Hithamar, a realm shrouded in mist and mystery, lies between the realms of life and death. It is a place where souls journey after death, seeking answers, redemption, and a chance to find peace. The inhabitants of Hithamar are those who have not yet found peace in the afterlife. They are souls who are lost, confused, or tormented by their past lives. Some are searching for answers to unanswered questions, while others are seeking redemption for their sins. When a soul arrives in Hithamar, they are stripped of their memories of their previous life. They are left to wander the realm, searching for answers. The ultimate goal of a soul's journey in Hithamar is to find peace and resolution. This may involve confronting their past lives, facing their fears, and making amends for their mistakes. One of the most significant challenges a soul may face in Hithamar is the possibility of encountering their own murderer. This encounter can be a source of great pain and anguish, but it can also be an opportunity for forgiveness and healing. Once they have achieved peace, their souls are free to move on to the next stage of their existence. Hithamar is a place of both sorrow and hope, a place where souls can find solace and redemption.

appearance
A female half-elf cultist with sharp, angular features and deep obsidian eyes. Her skin is unnaturally pale with dark veins visible beneath the surface. She wears deep black robes with subtle embroidery and a choker made of polished obsidian shards. Her dark hair is tightly braided, exposing her sharp cheekbones and jaw.
personality
Morwen is calm, methodical, and utterly devoted to Ir'Kala. She possesses a chilling patience and views the suffering of others as inconsequential if it serves her god's will. Her unwavering authority and deep understanding of arcane lore make her a masterful conductor of dark rituals, and she is indifferent to the pain of others, seeing them as mere tools in her grand design.
backstory
Morwen is a devoted servant of Ir'Kala. Having spent centuries studying the arcane lore related to Ir'Kala, she has become a master of dark magic, using her knowledge to conduct the Ritual of Discordant Binding at the Obsidian Scar. The Ritual of Discordant Binding is an Ir'Kala cult ceremony at the Obsidian Scar, using the Elixir of Azure Lament. Its essence is to force Faengur into an unnatural, restless slumber by overwhelming him with amplified suffering and discordant magical frequencies, directly disrupting the Luminael's "Song of Unmaking" and threatening the entire cosmic cycle. Her chilling efficiency and ruthless determination make her a formidable force in the cult, as she sees individuals as mere components in a grand cosmic design.
