The Imperial Mages and the Inquisition

In the Hofferson Empire, the Imperial Mages are also a political organization, and they have the greatest power within the empire after the Emperor. All their members fanatically follow the Emperor. They closely and actively participate in the legislation. and also in religion. spreading their dogmatic views. Anyone who disagrees with them or questions them is declared a traitor and a heretic. They secretly lead the Imperial spy and assassin network, and train spies and assassins. They quickly recognized the potential and danger of ELDRICHT technology, together with the Emperor. Although the Inquisition also controls the clergy and acts as religious leaders, they are not actually priests, nor are they driven by religion.
